The FiveRivers Workflow Server is a web based workflow management system that can automate business processes and allow companies to more effectively ensure compliance with best practices. The Workflow Server applies equally well to the areas of accounting, human resource management and other information worker processes.

The Workflow Server administrator can easily define custom workflows which involve steps such as document submission (attachment), form submission, review of submitted content as per predefined criteria (check box or free form), forwarding of approved content to the worker next involved in processing it, and either automated or human approval/archival to close out the workflow.

The product allows automation and auditing of traditional office processes such as the submission, review, approval and issuance of expense reimbursements. Other examples include consumer facing application form processing workflows in government, banking or other sectors.
