Winner of the P@SHA ICT Awards 2008, Foneitall is a one-stop solution for its subscribers to create their own digital cloud providing them access to their files from anywhere round the clock. It allows users to manage multiple devices (PC's & handhelds) keeping them in sync and provides an online data storage facility which ensures data security ensuring data protection.
Furthermore, it allows users to access their most important files permitting to view them remotely from a low end handset anywhere at any time, thus transforming normal phones to smart phones providing a means of service providers to increase their Average Revenue earned Per user. Foneitall can be accessed through any WAP 2.0 capable browser or higher from a PC, handheld device or mobile phone.
Shared Folders
One of the most powerful features allows Users to select any folder from their folder directory and share it for later access. The files contained in these folders are then viewable through their phone ad are automatically synced keeping them up to date at all times. Supported formats include:
1. MS Word document
2. MS Excel
3. MS PowerPoint
4. Adobe PDF
5. Notepad
6. Image files (jpeg, gif, png)
7. Multimedia files (mp3, mpeg, avi, wmv, mid, wav)
All textual files will be viewable in a mobile browser and can be downloaded from anywhere at any time. However, the machine on which these files reside has to be connected to the internet initially if such access is desired. Once synced, these files are then available even if your machine is offline. File operations such as cut, copy, paste and delte can also be carried out, replicating the changes on their shared machine, thus allowing users to manage multiple machines at any location with just a few clicks.
MS Outlook
Managing and accessing email on the go has always bee a problem for professionals, especially when you do not have powerful handset. Foneitall alleviates this by permitting users to access their emails and contacts configured in their MS Outlook (2000, 2003 & 2007). Contacts may be created, modified or deleted; emails may be read, replied to, deleted or sent. A user can also check for new email through Foneitall given that their PC is online.
PC Tasks
Just to make things interesting, Foneitall permits its users to perform the following activities if there machine is online.
1. System Restart
2. Shutdown
3. Hibernate
4. Logoff
5. Lock
These tasks can also be accomplished via SMS once a user saves their Mobile number in their settings.
Search
All of the above functionalities are backed up with a powerful search capability which allows the users to look through their files, emails and contacts at the same time. The users can also search across their different shared machines and access the desired content with a few simple clicks.
Security
All communication with the server is encrypted including the files that are backed up at remote servers giving you peace of mind.
Puch Email via SMS
Different Email addresses (POP3 & IMA) may be directly configured with Foneitall sending push messages to the user. The delivery may be one of:
1. WAP Push, where an http link will be forwarded to the user directing them to their email.
2. Simple SMS, will allow the first 160 characters to be displayed. A reply to this would inititate the next 160 characters to be sent.
